We are located in Whitney Pier, Nova Scotia. Our new, one-level, modern funeral home was designed to provide families in the Sydney area and throughout Cape Breton with an innovative service in a relaxing atmosphere. It is our goal to keep family and friends comfortable and to provide funeral services which are personal, meaningful, and truly celebrate that a life has been lived.

We have a caring and experienced staff, and our owner is an experienced Funeral Director/Embalmer for the province of Nova Scotia. Our staff understands that today's family expects excellent service and to be treated with compassion and respect. We understand that families need to be heard - our funeral director gives you the utmost attention so that all needs are met with caring professionalism.

Pier Community Funeral Home offers a unique touch to services with the release of our own white doves (trained to return to the funeral home) at the end of every funeral or special occasion.
